I talked to someone today about about a certain topic in which he was basically an expert in.

I know a decent bit on the subject but he made me feel dumb (I still don’t agree with a couple things he said though lol). I’m kinda jack of all trades, master of none type of person.

Anyway. That made me feel like I need to focus more on a specific area to master it. But after thinking about it, I think there may be some benefits to being more of a jack of all trades type.

I know that’s super generic, but my point is this:

Someone else will always know more than you, be better than you, etc.

But don’t let it stop you.

That’s them. They are only one person.

There’s billions of other people that need YOU, not some know it all expert.

Reminds me of drag racing. Basically whoever has the most money wins (I know there’s still some driver skill involved - don’t come at me).

But in life, it’s not whoever has the most knowledge wins. It comes down more to “driver skill”, aka how you use your knowledge.

Again, I know that’s kinda vague. Use it as you will.

That’s what I learned today. How bout you?
